I’ve been busying myself by checking out online art auctions and regular auction sites like Ebay.com a lot these last few weeks; no make that the last few months actually. I’m really in to this old Soviet paraphernalia, old propaganda poster and various Red Army stuff. I love that shit and best way to find cool original items is through online auctions. No kidding, you can find almost everything at those things. Last month I bought this old Russian army uniform jacket that supposedly was worn by soldier in the battle of Stalingrad. Yeah, I know, that last part is probably not true. But is a cool piece of history all the same. I am going to wear it when I hit the bars with my friend the coming weekend. I used to have this red British cavalry jacket with gold stripes and lots of other cool details, but it got stolen at party. That was nice one. But this score almost makes up for that.

Slightest

Doesn’t it annoy you even the slightest that that everywhere you turn you head there some mad corporation trying to sell off some crap. And when you flick on the TV there’s nothing on but daft reality shows and endless cooking, cooking, cooking. I can’t stand, it. The internet is even worse. Ok, there’s good stuff in there (or is out there?) too. Bust most of it either stupid, out to rip you off or porn, sometimes even all at ones. How are you supposed reach out to people, reach with real message if people are unable to sift through the smut. I’ve read, quite recently, about a technique called seo hosting, supposedly it can help make matters a great deal better in a relatively swift (but probably expensive) manner. What hell, I might splashed some cash if the seo people is able draw more visitors to my site.

I recently read somewhere that a lot of people make a living by their participation in surveys. I don’t know if that’s entirely true. Seems unlikely, doesn’t it. I know some companies and institutions pay you if you take the time to do their surveys. But it’s usually no great amounts of cash involved and besides how many paid surveys can weasel your way into in a month. I can’t be that many. I should think there’s more money in conducting surveys. Of course you can’t do really big ones as a freelance alone surveyor. But it can’t be impossible pull in a reasonable amount of cash. Patch together, buy or rent (or whatever the procedure is) an effective survey tool. Write down and incorporate a set of question on subject you think a lot of companies are interested in sell off the results. Someone should be willing to pay for it if it’s properly done. You’ll probably need a fair comprehension of how scientific studies are conduct before you begin. But that should be easy, buy a book on the subject.
